KY Blues History

Kentucky has a rich and vital history in the blues. Ragtime, Blues Guitar, Soul Jazz, Blues Harmonica,  Bluegrass, and Newgrass were first brought to the world by Kentuckians.

The Kentucky Blues Society continues to find more significant contributions by Kentuckians to the worlds music.  We have completed 4 videos of significant contributors, narrated by acclaimed movie and TV actor Andrew Stahl.  Here is a listing of who we have information on so far .. more to come.
